Pierhouse, a leading provider of marketing management solutions, has consolidated its net.tickIT promotional signage offer since its acquisition of Eastman-POS so that all functions - from the creation, proofing and publishing elements at head office to the printing of an individual ticket in store - are now web- based.
“It is clear from the conversations we have had with retailers at Retail Solutions that there is an increase in demand for tools that enable retailers to change a product price or offer across all their POS marketing output in line with late amendments in their EPOS system,” says Ian Hook, managing director, Pierhouse Business Solutions. “Competitive pricing means that changes have to be within hours, if not minutes. By having all functionality and reporting web-based, retailers can react fast. The head office suite enables immediate population of templates for proofing and releasing across a retailer’s entire estate in order to synchronise with till changes – and at every level we know that the message will be on brand and in store compliance can be measured and consequently improved.”
The new net.tickIT web solution can accommodate a request for a price ticket or promotional signage from any PC or mobile hip printer in store and direct the print to the chosen output device.
“Our decision to migrate to the .NET platform has enabled us to develop a single, scaleable and flexible solution that can meet the current and future demands from retailers to more effectively manage all customer communication and be more responsive to changing market forces,” adds Hook.
“As more retailers look to expand their operations internationally, so our enterprise web solution easily manages the production of POP signage for any new store, whether it be in the UK, Europe, China or Russia.”
The net.tickIT solution imports data from head office systems so that there is just a single point of truth for product and price information, as well as a wealth of other information such as equivalent weights, currencies, logos, graphics, warranty details and payment plans, all of which can be accessed over the Internet. Within the store, signage can be printed for any size - label, SEL, swing ticket and bigger as this is only dependent on the printer’s capability.

Pierhouse is offering net.tickIT in partnership with US technology company AccessVia, whose solutions are live in 150 retailers and in daily use in some 50,000 outlets.
